The Prince room

Once built by King Berthold from the Lämmergeschlecht, the ensemble was fundamentally renovated in 2015 and newly furnished with historic English furniture.

The closed holiday apartment is located on the edge of the historic town center of Himbach, as part of a former rural farm. The rural operation itself is no longer preserved, nevertheless, pigeons and chickens are bred on the rear part of the property. In the old cellar, apple wine from the own scattered fruit trees ripens, a specialty of the region.

The district Himbach, one of three districts of the municipality Limeshain, can look back on almost 1000 years of history. Near Gelnhausen, Büdingen, Nidda and Hanau, we are close to the important trade route "Hohe Strasse", which once came from Paris to Leipzig. The Bonifatius route even passes directly in front of the house. 
In the summer, a few steps further, the Straussenwirtschaft am Backhaus opens and provides cozy evenings and nice entertainment. On weekends, our Himbacher Kulturkaffee offers breakfast for the whole family.

Himbach in the Wetterau

The apartment has three beds, distributed over two rooms, a kitchen with microwave and stove, as well as a bathroom with shower on the lower floor. Facing south, you can enjoy the setting sun on the balcony, with access to the living room, in the evenings.
Smokers will find space in the covered corner in the courtyard or use the balcony.

The Bonifatius Route runs directly past the house. We are part of the State Garden Show Oberhessen 2027
